took my care in for over heating. they changed fan clutch and it cost $220. nothing at all was fixed. after 3 miles, it would heat right up. luckily i lived 3 miles from work and just drove it there and back for a while and thats it.
i took it back and they changed thermostat and 3 belts and it cost $290. nothing at all was fixed. The temp gauge actually went up higher then when i dropped it off.
i took it back and they looked it over and said nothing at all is wrong with the truck. i went and got it and drove down the road and turned around and when i got back to Harry Robinson, it was steaming hot. The guy i was talking to knew i was coming back and when i got back had left for lunch.
they then changed the radiator and it cost $320. it seems to be fixed now, however, when i put it in reverse, it dies. that is new. I will not take it back to Harry Robinson, it will probably cost $500 this time.
i talked to manager of Harry "Robs" i asked her to consider not charging me for the radiator since other services NEVER CAME CLOSE TO FIXING PROBLEM. she gave me TEN DOLLARS off my bill. I asked her if she really believed she gave me a great service and better than anyone in town could do and she said yes, for sure, they did.
850 bucks for a 300 dollar problem. Beware.
